Appendix 2 - 神圣洁, 教会也必须圣洁: Part 2

附录II。 我与周爱玲按马太福音18:15-17的方式沟通没有得到回应。

Jan 28th , 2015, 给周爱玲的电邮

Pastor Jocelyn,

As a believer in Christ Jesus I formally and privately ask you to publicly withdraw your meeting memo regarding the meeting between me and Ruan Zhiming, which took place in June 24th, 2014 where you were entrusted as my witness and my pastor according to the process defined in Matthew 18:15-17.

Your action to publish the memo has caused great harm to me, to my family, to the church at large and to the effort of confronting a man who had committed a serious crime against me 24+ years ago. By the time you decided to release your memo to the public, you have already been informed of my polygraph result and by the fact there was other allegation against him for additional rape crimes.

Your action to publish the letter without my knowledge nor approval had broken two laws:

·      The confidentiality between pastor/parishioner;

·      The victims’ right to privacy act.

As Shepard and minister of the Lord, by your above action, you have not fulfilled the duty the Lord assigned to you, “Feed my sheep, feed my sheep, feed my sheep”. Instead your action had harmed the sheep deeply.

As Christians, we all sin or make mistakes, because we are still in the process of renewing our mind in Christ Jesus. However, if we continue to sin, that is not right.

“9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 1 John 3:9 (NIV)”

I therefore humbly ask you to withdraw your letter publicly and immediately.

Ms. Jocelyn,

I have not heard your response to my again request. I take your non-response as not willing to correct your wrongs. So I am done with the II step according to Matthew 18:15-17. Now we have 18 pastors and our Board reviewing your case against me, I respectfully asking for their judgments on this.

Pastor Jocelyn,

I trust you have seen the report from the 18 Pastors’ investigations: https://www.cclifefl.org/View/Article/3900

With all these additional cases against Yuan’s sexual violence, I urge you to make a public apology immediately and withdraws your letter publicly, as the Lord commanded us: “Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in their guilt.” Leviticus 19:17. Matthew 18:15-17 Step II second time.
